From 6,3 A to 25 A
Bimetal temperature limiters from 6.3 A to 25 A
The main components are a mobile circular contact bridge (1), a contact support (2) a snap-action spring disc (3) and a bimetal disc (4), which are riveted together, and two contacts (5) fastened to a ceramic insulating support (6).
The mobile bridge is pressed by the spring disc against the two contacts and allows the current to flow. The bimetal disc is free to move as the temperature increases, without it altering the pressure applied by the spring disc on the contact.
When the nominal switching temperature is reached, the bimetal disc springs back from the convex position to the concave position, overcoming the force of the spring disc and causing the contacts to open immediately.
Similar to series 06, but in this case the contact is normally open and therefore closes at the nominal switching temperature.
