When you want to protect a device from excessive temperatures, various are the available solutions.
If you know in advance the value of the maximum allowable temperature, we suggest you to use bimetallic protectors or PTC.
If you want to monitor the temperature of your equipment and be free to program afterwards a possible alarm/switching, then the right choice is using a sensor Pt100, Pt1000 or KTY.
