HALOGEN-FREE: SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY

One of the distinctive advantages of RADOX® 125 cables is that they do not contain halogens. This makes them ideal for use in environments where fire safety, low emission of toxic fumes, and environmental compatibility are paramount. In the event of a fire, the absence of halogens minimises the generation of corrosive and toxic fumes, thereby helping to protect people, equipment, and buildings.

The demand for halogen-free products is growing in advanced, regulated industrial sectors, particularly where CPR and fire resistance certifications are essential.

GENERAL PROPERTIES OF RADOX® 125 CABLE

Thanks to their irradiation cross-linked insulation, RADOX® 125 cables can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C without melting. This gives them excellent mechanical properties and durable thermal stability. The semiconcentric braid of the conductor facilitates processing and improves production efficiency by enabling easy stripping, even over short lengths, while maintaining a constant external shape – ideal for use with wire stripping machinery.

Thanks to their electron beam irradiated compound insulation, the cables offer thermal resistance between -40°C and +125°C. They are also flexible, weldable, flame-resistant, and resistant to abrasion, ozone and weathering. Their halogen-free composition guarantees greater safety in the event of a fire.
RADOX® 125 cables are available in a range of colours.

APPLICATION

For protected and fixed installation inside electrical equipment. Particularly suitable for connecting motor windings, electrical panels, magnets and transformers.

2. Insulation: RADOX® 125, Type EI5 modified, EN 50363- 5 Type HF90 modified, IEC 60092- 360 extrusion of polyolefin cross-linked by radiation.
